The Grand Opening of Crowne Plaza Vientiane, the first international 5-star hotel in central Vientiane, marked a historic milestone in Laos’ hospitality and economic landscape. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc of Vietnam and Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith of Laos, alongside senior officials from both governments — elevating the event to a high-level diplomatic and economic occasion.
Developed by BIM Group in partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Vientiane stands on a 20,000m² land plot within the Royal Square complex, featuring nearly 200 luxury rooms, a full conference center with over eight meeting rooms, international dining venues, and premium facilities. As the first 5-star internationally operated hotel in Laos, the project symbolizes not only hospitality excellence but also strengthened economic and cultural cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
