Bức Tường Unplugged – Cơn Mưa Tháng Năm was a landmark live concert by the iconic Vietnamese rock band Bức Tường, performed at Nhà hát Hồ Gươm (Hanoi Opera House) in Hanoi. This intimate unplugged-style show marked a new chapter for the band, presenting their music stripped down with acoustic instruments like guitar, piano, and jazz percussion — creating a deeply emotional experience that differed from their traditional high-energy rock sound.
The concert celebrated Bức Tường’s 29-year musical journey, featuring 29 of their most beloved songs re-arranged in acoustic formats, with special emphasis on the track “Cơn Mưa Tháng Năm” — a meaningful composition co-written by guitarist Trần Tuấn Hùng and the late frontman Trần Lập, and cherished by fans as a highlight of the band’s repertoire.
Held in a prestigious indoor venue — a first for a Bức Tường concert — the show gathered longtime fans and new listeners alike in a setting that allowed deeper connection between the band and the audience. Alongside members Trần Tuấn Hùng, Vũ Văn Hà, Tăng Xuân Kiên and Phạm Trung Hiếu, the program featured guest performers and collaborators who contributed to the emotional storytelling of the band’s legacy.
